How I discovered GHAS

I spotted an item in the Accrington Observer way back in 1999 and posted my first message (No: 29) with a poem as a way of introducing myself. The site has since gone on from strength to strength, and since John D took over the helm, it has proved to be a plethora of information concerning all that Great Harwood was and still is. Congratulations are certainly due to the many and varied subscribers from all over the world and long may the site continue to remain a safe anchorage for all ex-pats.

How I discovered GHAS

I have been a member of the site about two years my first post being dated 21/08/2007.
I can't remember how I came across it but I am glad I did.
Great fun, great folks, Great Harwood...
