Through its pleasures and its woes.

Than meets the jaundiced eye,
A host of fulsome memories,
That still refuse to die;
So join the Arrod Website,
And share with us times past,

From cotton mills in times gone by,
And a railway long forgot,
‘Owd Arroders' convene on line,
To contemplate their lot.
Ten years have passed in record time,
A decade to our credit,
To appreciate Great Harwood town
Seek out the path and tread it.
The Internet's a wizard tool,
By which to share our passion,
For sure as heck as years flow by,
It won't go out of fashion. So whether home or overseas,
Great Harwood's roots stay strong,
And wend their way around the world,
To laud where we belong. |
